You can buy just about anything on the streets of the Dominican Republic. At times there are just about as many people there to sell as there are cars packing the intersections. Here are a few pictures of some of the more interesting things I have seen for sale by street vendors.
Gold Fish! This guy was happy to let me take a picture of the fish, but insisted he not be in the picture.
I love the fruit carts that are on the side of the road! This guy has Papaya, Bananas, and pineapples. When you start to get close you can literally smell the fresh ripe fruit.

These gineaus or bananas as we say in English are cheap and incredibly great.
To the right you can also see some pinas or pineapples that are ripe and ready to eat. If you ask the vendor to peel the pinas for you he will happily pull out a knife and cut one up for you, so you can eat it right there.
